7 Pot Douglah
The 7 Pot Douglah pepper is one of the best super hot peppers for cooking because it provides much more consistent heat levels than many of the other super hots. Sometimes called the Chocolate 7 Pot pepper, this is one of the hottest of the 7 Pot Peppers. It is also one of the hottest peppers in the world.

When the Chile Pepper Institute at the University of New Mexico released its study, it listed the Chocolate 7 Pot as the second hottest pepper in the world. Jim Duffy, who had provided the seed for those tests, would later confirm the chocolate 7 pot they referenced was the 7 Pot Douglah.
This is a very rare pepper. Native to Trinidad, even there it is more of a backyard specialty crop than one which is farmed on any sense of large production. If you can get past the intense heat, you will notice a slight hint of fruit. Quite different from the red 7 Pot varieties.
The pods are habanaro in shape with slight dimpling. They mature from green to chocolate brown. Plants grown in ground can reach six feet in height, but four to five feet is much more common. Plants spread up to three feet.
